San Francisco Oath Ceremony canceled

hi, all.

I did my Interview on Sept 3rd. and the IO informed me I should receive my oath letter in three week, and hand me over the sheet with "congratulations" box checked.

Instead of receiving any oath letter, I received a letter from UCIS sent on Sept 8th stating:

"This is to advise you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel the previously scheduled Oath Ceremony on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 09:00AM for the above applicant. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

We will advise you of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview information, under separate notice.
"

I am confused on what is going on, cause I didn't receive oath date during my interview nor the oath letter. but now an oath cancellation letter.

and espeically for the second paragraph, I am not sure what exact the UCIS wanted to do, re-do an interview?

anyone on the same boat? any suggestions for the next step?

Don't worry too much

I received a letter dated Sep 8th, oath scheduled for 9AM on 22nd. They probably did some rescheduling to meet certain timelines? My PD is May '07, when is yours?

make an infopass and talk to an IO. Something is wrong. May be the first letter was lost in the mail.
 
I got the oath letter for the ceremony on Oct 15.

seems UCIS was doing some re-scheduling. pretty scaring expreience.

thanks a lot for your suggestion and help.
