Hi All,
Did not know which forum to put this question. My I-140 & I-485 have been filed with receipt date of Sept 2007. I have been with this company for the past 4 years w/o any substantial salary review. Upon my pestering they are willing to offer me a measley 5% increase due to the fact that my immigration lawyer has notified them anything over this amount will require re-filing of 140 & 485. Anybody have had the same issue or are they just feeding me a bucket full of hogwash????

Not true. New labor would be more logical... even this is not true. You're allowed to paid more than proffered wages. If it was double the salary, then there might be concern... 5% over... give me a break...

Get a second opinion from another lawyer.
