Wife called USCIS and got someone stating we shouldn't send
the Medical examination with parents' GC application.
They said it could be lost and would be better to wait until the interview.

It was my understanding, the medical exams should be sent with the
AOS applications.

Please advise.

Whoever she called has no clue what they were talking about. The i-693 medical examination must be completed and the results sent (in a sealed envelope given to you by the Civil Surgeon) to USCIS along with form I-485. period.

That's almost the exact words I said when I heard about it.
Can some others confirm this as well.
My wife is still talking about listening to the person she spoke with.

If you have read the instructions for the I-485 it does state
to include the medical examination forms, everyone will tell
you the same thing, if you dont include it you will recieve
an RFE, and that will just delay your case...
