Has the August Bulletin been released a month early?

Hi everyone,

I have just checked this month's US Department of State Visa Bulletin and realised it is the August Visa Bulletin (including September) instead of the July Visa Bulletin (including August):

I'm relatively new to this, but I could swear the August Bulletin has been released a month too early. :confused:

Does anyone know if the US Department of State have started to release the bulletins a month earlier?

Everything is fine. Bulletin is released around 15th every month for the next month (and advanced notification for the next month after it)

So hypothetically speaking, if my case number was to become current in December this year. It would be listed in the advanced notice cut-off section in the November 2008 Visa Bulletin which is released on October 15th 2008.

So I could call or email the USCIS and find out my December interview date before the end of October? And if this were the case, do you know approximately when I should be expecting my second NL?

Am I making sense, I hope so.

Right, you see December cut-off numbers in November Bulletin.

You can call or email KCC (not USCIS) some days after the released it to ask for the interview date. The 2nd letter normally arrives about 4 weeks before the interview. Some ppl got it earlier, some never.

Do you know an estimate of when to call after the release of August Bulletin? what they ask for before they let you know the day of the interview?

After the August release has anyone called KCC to check the interview date? Would they have them scheduled by now?
 
YES.. I just called few minutes ago and a case no. 48xxx.
I was told my interview will be on the 3 SEP. You can call to find out now

Thanks. i have written an email to them and hope they will reply soon. If i do not hear from them by next week i will call them. My case number is F 52xxx. What country are you from??
 
I also wrote an e-mail and got a reply yesterday asking me to contact them with 7 to 10 biz day. But I called now and they told me my interview date..I think calling will be better
