Dear friends
I think my RFE is very specific unlike I see a lot of unrelated RFEs on the forum. I need your help in answering these questions. Thanks to the officer, he specified that my application demonstrates that the proposed research employment has substantial intrinsic merit and my RFE is only a half page
1) According to the evidence of records, it appears that the impact of the work in the capacity is local, not national, in scope. Further, while you claim that your toolkit can be benefit students nationwide, it appears that the program is currently implemented only in your classroom. Therefore, you are requested to submit documentary evidence to establish that your work is national in scope (Please remember that I am in teaching field)
2) You must establish that you have a past record of specific prior achievement that justifies projection of future benefit to the national interest. You must establish, in some capacity, your ability to serve the national interest to a substantially greater extent than the majority of your colleagues. You must demonstrate to some degree your influence on your field of employment as a whole. While you have submitted letters in support of your claim, to meet this criteria there must be objective evidence to support claim.
- I have submitted a national level award from U.S. and an award received in my home country from the state government, several awards received at bachelors and masters level. At least 10 letters from the current and previous employers citing the importance of my work and degree greater than my colleges, also letters from my old students, who are in different parts of the world
3) Articles and published materials and citations before the date of application.
This is where I have very less or no scope. I don’t have any published material or citations except in a training manual. I started my research after coming to the U.S, which was very clearly mentioned in my application, I have nearly nothing published work or citations. I submitted my application within 1 ½ years. I can submit letters from my seminar attendees, who are mostly my country men.
