Welcome Notice vs Approval Notice

If there is anyone who knows the difference between "Welcome Notice" and "Approval Notice". My understanding was that WN goes to applicant but AN goes to attorney (if G28 was filed).

Recently my wife got Welcome Notice and yesterday she got green card.
What if Approval Notice was not sent ?

I got only 2 e-mails from CRIS (for her case):
1. Card Production ordered
2. Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident. (after few hours)

there was no e-mail "Approval Notice sent"

In my case and case of my daughter we have got e-mails:
1. Card Production ordered
2. Approval Notice sent (3 days after CO)

there was no e-mail about Welcome Notice.

The fact that USCIS did not sent Approval Notice to attorney, is that can cause a problem ?

If we need to contact USCIS regarding Approval Notice to be sent to attorney ?

For heaven's sake you got your green card approved - who cares what the exact wording of the email is? A lot of people take the computer-generated email from USCIS way too seriously. These messages are random, and they are different every time, but the end result is the same. Congrats on your green card and don't worry about the wording of every email that you got and also don't worry what the attorney gets or doesn't get as long as you get your plastic card. It doesn't matter and USCIS doesn't care about the attorney per se.
