Lapse of time renewing EAD & AP

Hello,

My wife's EAD and AP are valid till end of July and she's not planning to work or travel abroad until next year. So, can we file for her EAD and AP in November this year so they will be available and valid when we want to travel at the end of next year?

If you are not on H1/H4 then only means for your travel is AP. In that case u should always keep AP valid.
