Hi everyone!
I plan to travel outside the country for couple of weeks. I suspect that my biometrics appointment notice will arrive exactly while I'll be on my trip.
So my question is, can my spouse reschedule the appoinment for me? If so, what's the procedure? Will that delay processing of my case?
Or is there a way to do biometrics without NOA2, meaning before it actually arrives in mail?
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Yes, your wife can get that FP apptt rescheduled for you while you are away. In that apptt letter, there is a section right at the bottom where you can check off a statement which says that you won't be able to make it for your apptt on that specific date and asking USCIS to reschedule you to another date in the future. You basically return that portion back to USCIS using first class regular mail. Make sure your wife makes a photocopy of that letter before mailing it back to USCIS. If u get the notice prior to your travel date, I would try to do a walk in apptt with my confirmed plane tkts in my hand. Otherwise you don't have much choice. USCIS will reschedule you, don't know honestly how long will that delay your process.
