Is 30 months requirement for the physical presence for N 400 application= 30*03 = 900 days?
or it is counted by the summation of calender months like 31 ,30,28 ...= 30 months?
please , can any one explain this?
thanks in advance.
Don't confuse yourself with the number of days in a month or how many days you have stayed in the US. Just go by the number of months. February has 28 days but it's still counted as a month. It doesn't really makes that much of a difference anyways.

mistake in typing it should be 30 * 30 = 900 days
any ways
if one counts 2 years 6 months with calender months then approximately it is 365 +365 + approx 180 days = 910 days.
is 910 = 30 months or 900 = 30 months ?
I am really confused !
need more explanation please
I don't think they have anything listed on the requirements that mentions the number of days. You need to be in the US for 30 months. If you were here for 2 yr 6 months, you have fulfilled the requirement. Depending on how you got your green card ( if by marriage or family sponsorship) you can apply 3 months prior to your 3 or 5 year date.
If you take the average of the number of days in a month, it comes out to about 30.4 days/month. Why are you counting the days? Maybe it would be easier if you could just focus on months and disregard the number of days in each month. Would make it simpler and easier for you.
My personal recommendation is to err on the side of caution in case of doubt or for peace of mind. It's one thing if you are debating about 900 vs 1000 days... but 900 vs 910? It's not worth the agonizing. Besides, once you mail your N-400, the wait time is typically in months, and a 10-day saving might not be visible anyway.
