please help am confused???

I received my NL in end of May 2007. I replied in June and opted to do the CP. In the first place i didn't know if it was wise to do the CP because i could have used both the options could have worked for me. My case number is
AF00052xxx. Any advise which would have been more better to do, CP or AOS??
Another question, when is it likely for my number to be current?? any hope??

What coutnry are u from? i absolutely will recommend CP. U might not have enough time for AOS.

I am from Kenya. does it mean for both CP and AOS you have to wait for the number to be current??? when do you think my number will be current? it seems to be quite high
 
You are right, 52XXX is pretty high. I wont expect an interview earlier than September, maybe August if the increase is high.

As Johnkent wrote, that is too late doing AOS. I badly advise you to have all your papers ready once your number becomes current to run not out of time!

Will be current probably in September and yes, u have to wait for ur number to be current for both.

Thanks much for your replies. I have archived a few visa bulletin in the past years and in August, they usually write current for all the regions. Does that mean that at that time all the numbers are current??
another question is when you do CP, when the number gets current is when they mail you a letter for the interview and Medical?? When the number becomes current, do you wait for the letter or you can call them to get your interview date? Can i do medical before i get the interview letter or I have to wait for instructions??

Thanks much for your reply.. Do i have to wait for the letter from KCC for medical or i can be doing medical ahead of time just to be getting ready.. What other documents do i need to be getting ready ahead of time not to run out of time in Sept IF at all it becomes current..
