:eek:I am currently on 6th year of my H1-B visa. My GC is in I-140 process stage and expected to get around July 08, same time when my 6th year finishing.

I am working for 4 & 1/2 years with X company and now they are ready to higher me and do H1 & GC. My confusion is what should I do?

Option A: Do not take this offer and be remain with my currect employer as I-140 is going to arrive in April and same time my 6years completing. So I can get H1-B extension thru current employer only becoz leaving will start all over again.

Option B: Get my H1-B transfered with this X company and start GC process all over again but biggest hurdle of H1-B extension. I do not aware about any rule of getting extension if I start GC process from scratch.

Option C: I should wait till I-140 arrives and then get 3 years H1-B visa extension with my current employer and then transfer H1-B to X company and start GC process from scratch.
