Card Production Ordered

Dear all,

We just got an email that card production has been ordered for the primary applicant on Dec 19. Finally...!!!

Still waiting to hear on the derivative case.

Thanks to all the forum members for their help and support.

Thanks a lot deena. I sincerely hope your approval is on the way too.
Just to give you an idea, when I called TSC (poj) on Nov 30, the IO said they would be receiving new visa numbers next day (12/01) and our cases would most likely be assigned to an officer since everything is clear and that it's under EB1. We both called again on Dec 4th and several times after that and were told everytime that our cases are with an officer but they couldn't tell whether visa# were assigned or not. Anyway, it took about 15 days to get the approval after being assigned to an officer. And, YES, you can trust most of these IOs at TSC.

Congrats! This is a great news. Its good to see March 07 pD getting approval.

I called TSC again today and was told that my case is still waiting to be assigned to an officer. Name check and background checks are all clear but the application is waiting to be assigned to an officer. Do you know how long does it take for the case to be assigned to an officer?

An update:

We called TSC few minutes ago to check what's up with the derivative case. We were told that the card production has been ordered today for the derivative as well. Somehow the USCIS web site has not been updated. Hope, this information is correct.

Actually our PD is Feb 21 according to the I-140 approval notice. I don't know whether they go by PD or RD of I-485.

Anyway, to answer your question, our namechecks were cleared in October but the cases were assigned to an officer in early December as I mentioned in the above post. However, we opened SR for both cases in mid Nov (do not know whether that or the congressmen's query had any effect).
The day after Thanksgiving we called and talked to a very nice IO at TSC. She said, she doesn't understand why our cases are not being looked at since everything is ready to go. She said, she is going to put a note so that the cases are going to be looked at soon. I believe, your cases are all going to be approved within a month or so since the visa# is current and NC is cleared. But keep calling TSC to check. It may expedite the process, who knows!

I hope so too..I am starting to get worried now..well my lawyer initiated a Service Request on November 20th so we should get a response in writing soon enough.
 
Finally, we received the card production order email for the derivative. USCIS web site is also updated now with that message.

I think I need to call TSC using POJ too, as I really worry my I-485: no FP notice for me and my spouse since the submission of I-485 on July 30. Only my son got his FP and his file was refiled on October 29.

I was told that my NC was cleared in a matter of days after receipting my I-485. Called NSC number of times to confirm:sometimes good IO and bad other time. I would be giving my FP in january 2008 only and will see if there is any movement in the January/February 2008.
