Hi all,
I am starting a new thread, which tells LUD on previously approved I-140. Lets track this type of pattern...

EB2/RIR/INDIA - PD March 2003
I-140 AD Sep.6,2006 LUD 12/2/2007
I-485/EAD/AP RD June 5,2007 LUD 07/18/2007
FP code 3 July 18,2007
EAD/AP approved

Please include approved I-485 cases, who had this type of pattern of getting LUD on I-140.

i too have LUD on I-140 that was approved last year. LUD was on 12/02. It appears to be a batch job. So i wouldnt read too much into it. But I would love to be proved wrong.
 
I got an LUD too

I got an LUD on I-140 that was approved early this year.
Does this mean anything? Is it something to be happy about?
 
I got this magic mail today that my GC has been approved. I am so excited today. I am not able to believe my eyes, when i saw the welcoming email. Thanks to Lord Jesus and all in the forum. Wish all the best for all of you.

I too got an LUD on 11/04/2007 on my I-140 petition that was approved 07/12/2006. Its been exactly a month since the LUD but no signs of I-485 approval yet.

Anybody have any insights on the significance of this I-140 LUD and its correlation with the I-485 approval?

I got a LUD on my second Advance Parole (I-131), which was approved on September 22, 2004; LUD now is 12/02/2007

I am a new comer.Forgive my dumb question.I tried to read several posts to understand this before asking the question
I read, you can find about LUD in the online status. Do you have to register to know whether you got LUD or just the online status will tell you about it. I see lot of people quoting LUD dates.
My online status tells as "On August 29, 2007, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice." and
current status as "case received and pending". Where do they give any other date. Eventhough my FP was done back in Sept I see this message has no change.
I have not yet received any receipts and AP, but got my EAD .
Can any one help me to understand this.

LUD means nothing and may mean lot of things. Last Update is where you see the date when you log in to check your status. Please register at the USCIS website and enter your receipts numbers (i140, i485, AP, EAD etc) to check your status.

So, whenever you log back in you will see, if the date in the "Last Updated" column had any date change to it.

So, register and create a portfolio with your receipt numbers and you will be able to see “Last Updated” - Again don't read into this "Last Update" posts too much.
