Will divorce take my green card or freedom?

We produce oil baby... and in Venezuela, a gallon of Gas only costs us 12 cents (Premiun Unleaded) ;)

What you mean us, (meaning you) as far as I know we pay over 3 bucks a gallon here in the states, or are you back in Venezuela? Get it together P you aren't in Venezuela anymore.

That banana boat comment was a little racist to the OP.

I don't know what the deal is with Southner and Trini but I thought this was a thread to address my issue.

I tried to present all the facts to get an open and honest opinion and all I am met with is 2 people bickering and everyone else focusing on the weed. I understand weed is illegal, but that isn't my question. So far the feedback has been pretty useless.

I keep being asked about my status when I repeat once again...I have a permanent green card. I was married in 2003 and am still married, I lived with her for 3 years and knew her for about 1 year prior to getting married. All the interviews have been completed. My issue is divorce from a woman that may try to take revenge, is there a possibilty here spite can mess me up?

I pretty much have an answer from other sources, but if anyone else have something interesting to say about the question I presented that doesn't focus on irrelevant things as me taking drugs to an interview- like an idiot, an interview that has already been completed- please post.

Look DUDE you brought the weed up, not us + I was not harping on you losing brain cells. I gave you my opinion what to do. I guess you did not understand my Trini talk so I spell it out in English.

Now that your wife gave you d permanent green card, you can leave her with d child. Go marry d other white gal (I'm sorry she is white is she?) and move on nothing is going to happen to you. Tipical Island man. As I'm still LMAO about him telling his business about smoking ganga.

what did the white man do this time?... or it was the white lady?

Trini..stop inciting bigotry and hatred of people due to their race... if the Jamaican man wants to marry a white woman, then it is his prerogative. I thought America was all about choices..... go to the grocery store to see choice available to you-foodwise....same as people's taste for thighs...:D

Hatred, me. white, black. I hate no one. How do you know my husband's is not white or what ever. I was making a point to the OP. He knows what I'm talking bout. And if he does not then more power to him. Inciting bigotry never me MON. BTW that's not how we Island people spell it. It's MAN just pronounce the English way. But you want to talk about bigotry. What a joke, making fun of the Jamaican Man and his weed smoking. I'm done with you, said what I have to and that's it. Say what you must. I'll be sure to put you on my ignore list.

I thought you said it was Mon? ;)

Either way, I have no respect for the OP.

Cheating Husband
Drug Abuser
Leaving wife and child
Cares only about the GC (Apparently)

For all I care, they can deport him.

We really can't say we have no respect for him. The Man did say he takes care of his child. For that I respect him. We do not know what happened to his marriage. So lets give him his answer he came for and get on with the next thread. Another thread out of hand.

OK, answer: Yes, you have an unconditional GC and you can do whatever you want, and Yes, your wife can get your GC revoked and your "Freedom" taken away.

Moving on...

So even after getting the unconditional green card it can still be revoked by a spouse who may or may not have an axe to grind????

My understanding is that if it is found that the GC was obtained fraudulently it can always be revoked, no matter how much time has passed. I guess the key is that USCIS doesn't ask you to prove a bona fide marriage anymore after the conditional period, but it doesn't mean it can't come after you if someone volunteers information to them seeking to disprove your bona fide marriage.

Revoking a GC is much more complex than simply denying a petition for removal of conditions. Unless there is hard evidence of GC fraud, I really doubt USCIS is going to be terribly interested to get involved. That situation may however change if there was ever a conviction for CDS (drugs) - stuff like that quite often gets people brought up before an immigration judge for removal proceedings.

Keep away from the weed and you should be ok.
