on H1 married US citizen. Question on I-485

Hi,

This might be a stupid question but i just wanted to make sure i'm doing this right.

I'm on H1 and I married my wife (US citizen) two months back. I'm applying for I-485 along with her I-130.

Which check box should i check for Part 2. on I-485 application is it 2 b
since my wife is US citizen and applying for my adjustment of status.

please let me know if this is correct or what is the right option for me to check for Part 2 on I-485.

Kalyan, the answer is 2A, "an immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number has been
approved" ... as weird as it sounds for a concurrently filed application.

should she also fill out I-864?? affidavit of support??

Mr. K,

Unless you intend to be supported by a wolf, them she is required to complete the I-864...:p US govt view all immigrants as children, USC are the only people capable of supporting them....
