Tracker: Name Check and Finger Print!!

Hello everyone:

I spoke to an IO today (this was the second person) and she said my Name Check has been cleared and I have to wait to get the Biometric Card; and go to local USCIS office and get that done. I am not sure how good information she provided (Because I see lot of people are stuck on the name check queue for years); or she was just saying so I do not call there anymore Also how long does it take to get FBI Finger Process (whole process) and NC done.

Please post your experience with NC/FP on this thread so everyone will have some idea on this subject. Any thoughts/suggestions/input would be appreciated!.

It depends on case to case basis for name check the lucky one can get there name check clear in min 72 hours and unlucky people can get stuck for years, you can find out about your name check status from Infopass, The fingerprints are generally cleared the same day from FBI.

Thanks much - I actually spoke to 2 different IO in TSC and both of them gave me same information saying "your Name Check has been cleared".

Name Check

Kindly advise where and how one can check wether Name Check is cleared.
We got our Finger Printing done on November 6TH. 2007
