Second Job
There is no problem you can get a second job does not matter if it is different, remember that you have to keep your original job in order to keep your rights for your green card. The second job if is different that can not provide you evidence for it. Do not worry go ahead and get your second job.

L1 with EAD and 140 and 485 filed - 2nd Job
Hi, I have a similar question but need to clarify some things:
Right now I have an L1 visa and already filed for 140 and 485, my 485 will be pending for 180 days around March and my 140 should be approved around May. I want to have a part time job, but with a L1 visa you can't. The company lawyers are filing an extension for my L1 as it will expire on Aug 08. Is there a way to have a part time job, now that I have an EAD card??? Probaly jump as a 485 pending status and have a part time with my EAD??

You can do an additional job with your EAD, but doing so would lose your L1 status.
