Stressing about not getting AP in time. Help?

We applied for our AP last week. We are planning to leave on Dec 15th. Can some of you post your time lines for your AP (when you received it in the mail)?

Also, I was wondering if we could apply for an emergency AP if indeed the time comes close and we still don't have one.

I know some of you (Prae:cool:) have said that some people have got theirs pretty fast.

Any advice?

PS. This is all because of the #$%@ namecheck still pending:mad:

Ap

Don't worry. I am an USC, my spouse's GC is also stuck in name check. (I130 approved - Sept 24'07). We realized we did not apply for I-131, applied next day.
Here's the timeline for I-131
RD: Sept 26, 2007
ND: Oct 01, 2007
I131 issued: Oct 15, 2007.
Received I131: Oct 19, 2007.

WOW jumping Beans. That was fast. What is your DO? Also, did you mention a date on your application that you needed to leave?

Ap

I was surprised at the speed myself. I put 10/30/2007 as my date of travel. My wife was planing to accept a job that required international travel. Our DO is Pittsburgh, PA. I hope the name check also moves faster for everyone to avoid these headaches.

Hi Jumpingbeans,

Could you tell me where your Ap approval notice is sending from?

Thanks,
