Hello

Have not posted for a long time now.Approx. 2 years back ( July 2005) our 485 case was transferred to the Delaware local office even though we lived in NJ always. Finally after several Infopass appointments and driving all the way to Delaware, we were told in Jul 2007 our case is done processing, and will go back to Vermont. Subsequent Infopasses later, our case is now sitting in the Philadelphia mailroom for the last 4 months and no one can help us - including us going there in person too. We are now about to file our 5th EAD. Does anyone have any ideas how to handle this? What is taking the file so long to leave the mailroom and make it to VSC?

Thanks
S

Looks to me that the case went into some sort of black hole. Have you tried contacting your senator/congress man's office?

File DHS 7001 form [CIS Ombudsman Case Problem Submission]. We filed this on Nov29th using express mail on Nov 29th and got an update on the case on 3rd December.

We had the exact problem and we contacted Senators office. But for their intervention our file would not have come out of the mail room. Please try contacting your local senator's office.
Thanks,
Deepa

Thanks for your responses. We contact Senator's office and finally cases have been transferred to VSC for me( dependent) and NSC for my husband(primary). Since PD is not current, we are basically waiting now.
