Hi

I am resident of OKlahoma State and I am going to file my N-400 , I heard that I can apply 3 months prior to eligible period, Is it right? If so, where do I need to submit my application and what are the documents do I need to submit alongwith N 400 and finally what is the waiting period for this type of applications in OK State?

I appreciate if any one of you guide me on this?

Narayana,

You will be most likely sending your N-400 form to Mesquite, TX center. The fees has been raised to $695 I believe. You can download N-400 form along with the instructions on www.uscis.gov

You will need to send copy of your Green card along with couple of pictures (write A # on the back side of the pictures with a pencil) and a check (N-400 fees).

If I missed something, others will go ahead and add their thoughts & comments.
 
Oklahoma N-400 Answers

Hi, I processed my N400 in Oklahoma...it was very fast.

I submitted the N400 in March and by September I had US Citizenship and a Passport.

I did mine through an immigration attorney and I submitted a lot of documentation with the N400 app. and pictures.

Do a search throughout this forum and you will find the list of documents to submit.....it includes past divorce decrees (in English) and many other documents and in doing it this way, my application was not slowed down by the USCIS having to request other documents.

In fact I would like to go through this route for my Natulization process which will be in the middle of next year. Further, I appreciate if you can provide how much will be costs in dealing the whole process, so that I can plan for that.

Hi...a lot of people use lawyers that are cheap and they get cheap or no help...my lawyer was mid-range. It was $1000.00 to handle the case and to me, it was worth the money....I think it went faster because of her help and the speed in which she did things.

If I were you I would email them and see what they say or telephone....Ana Ramirez is the receptionist and Hina Bahkta is the para-legal.

Judith Cooper is the owner and she too is an immigrant and all of her staff too.

Thanks you very much for the information. I called this morning Hina and as you said she responded nicely and took my information and she is going to send booklet. During my conversation, she asked me how do I got this number and I told though Internet forums and told you also took their services. In fact she is enquring your name and other details, which I could not provide, I appreciate if you provide your name and other details so that when I talk to her next time I can refer your name.
