Transfer Local Office? Email or USPS mail?

Do we or attorney receive any letter about local transfer or just online msg? Because. Couple of months ago Attorney sent me an email that "My case has been transferred to local office".

I have been asking about the letter just for my records. Today he was telling that they never recd any regular mail only online STATUS.

When my case was transferred from TSC to Charlotte office, I got an email and a Transfer Notice as well.

I never recd any regular mail .. but my online msg is lke this , which means transfer to local office???

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office.
 
I do not think this is local office transfer message. This is standard message for pending applications, which are transferred to TSC or NSC. The message like transferred to National Benefit Center..

March 2nd my case has been transferred to TSC from VSC..Then waited for an approval. on 06/30/07 i got this email. I thought it was a common. later a month or so, attorney sent an eamil that your case has transferred to local, i thought he recd a regular (USPS) mail.

when i asked him y'day about the letter they recd, He was like we didnt receive any but the online msg. Online status is the same as above.

I also think that your case was not a local transfer. The following is the standard message when mine was transferred local:


On September 19, 2005, we transferred this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our MILWAUKEE, WI location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case has been sent to our MILWAUKEE, WI location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register

When my case was transferred from TSC to Dallas local office in Nov 2004, there was no snail mail but only an USCIS-CSSO e-mail and on line status changed as follows:
Current Status:

On November 8, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register
Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in DALLAS, TX for
them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take
several months. Our office in DALLAS, TX will notify you when they schedule
your interview or take other action on your case.

When my case was transferred back to TSC in July 2007 (for card production) again there was no snail mail but only a CRIS e-mail one month after transfer and on line status changes as follows:
Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was
transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST
STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS
office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the
office needs something from you.
 
Thanks Friends..Looks like it is not a local transfer then. I never received any mail that transferred to DALLAS,TX (I live in Dallas Area). I have no idea where the heck this application got stuck..USCIS responded to CONG-Man that have him wait till Oct 31st. Prolly i need to talk to cong-man again in next month.
