Checks not encashed for I-485 filed on 07/12/2007

my lawyer filed I-485 on 07/12/2007 in nebraska . no checks have been encashed yet. iam a little bit concerned as nebraska moved to 07/29 and texas to 07/19.

has the applications filed in nebraska from july 2 to july 17 have been moved to texas??

Any one in the same boat ???

Same thing here anoopa, filed at NSC on July 5th and no receipts till far,a bit worried.

My application reached NSC on 7/6. I found out that my check got cashed on 9/7, when I tracked the number I found that my case was trasferred to TSC. and the new RD on the notice was 09/07. A lot of cases have been transferred to TSC, so hang on and keep checking ur bank account for cashed checks

A friend of mine is a July 2nd filer at NSC. His case was transferred to TSC, and the check was cashed on 8/31.

His I-140 had been processed and approved at TSC earlier, and our state is one of those under the jurisdiction of TSC according to the Direct Filing rule (effective on 7/30). So we expected it would probably be headed for Texas so it would take some time before he heard from them, and that indeed was the case.

Transferred cases take longer time, and for some reason it seems people who filed before the 7/17 announcement are waiting longer. You should hear from them soon.
