Where to file I-765?

Guys,

I read the whole forum and there is no one answer to that question.Where to file form I-765?
I filed my AOS in TSC in June 2007, according some treads I have to file my I-765 form there to. When I read the Instruction for form I-765 it says that if you are filing separately form I-765 is NSC because I live in California?
So where the heck to file this f"""@# form?
Please advice! My H1 expires September 30th!
Any fast responce is apreciate.Thank you.

One should file the I-765 where your I-485 is pending.

I am in the same boat!

I am filing AP, which also has this conflicting filing center issue..

I am surprised that other than us, no one else seems to be affected/bothered ..

Or everyone just took it for granted that AP/EAD should be filed to the center where I-485 is pending ?????

So we just ignore the instructions?
