Friends I finally received a card ordered email on 5th Sept 2007. I was stuck in name check and was expecting wait till Oct 2007 at least. I can answer any questions you may have.

Did you contact senators and others for help after your NC was cleared or before that?

What do you recommend for someone whose NC was recently cleared?

PD: April 2001 (LC) AD: Feb 2005
RD :July 2005 ( I140) AD: July 2007
RD :July 2005 (I485)
LUD for (I485): Aug 6,2007
Current Status:case has been sent to another office for processing
CSC > NCS the Notice Date : 8/7/07 but same RD:7/05

NC completion not recognised by USCIS.

I contacted them before Feb 07 and also after because I was told in June 07 that my NC was not cleared by an immigration officer. Only in August did I know from the FL and senator that my NC was cleared in Feb 07. If your NC is clear then you have to wait for visa availability. If not contact everybody(FL, SENATOR, OMBUDSMAN) and hope one of them actually helps your case out.

The Senator I contacted mentioned that my name check was done by FBI on Aug 16th. I called USCIS and they mentioned that they haven't received anything from FBI yet.

So even it take a month for them to get the information I think I might be better of preparing the letters to FL Senator and ombudsman.

Do you have same formats of these letters (after the NC is completed)?

Format does not matter

Format does not matter. Just write what you think. Make sure you send case details like Alien #(On 485 receipt) and Receipt number. I sent the same letter because I did not even know that it was completed.

Details like:

Name:
Address:
Tel:
Date of Birth:
Country of birth:
Application Receipt No:
A#:
Case filed at:
Filing date:
Actions so far:
Result expected:

I am not sure what this means. I would go to the local immigration office and ask them.

Can you summarize on how to contact local congressman,senor etc.. ?

Look up your senator on senate.gov
Look up your congressman on house.gov
Look up USCIS ombudsman on google.com
Look up first lady on google.com

For all the above get a mailing address and explain your issue with all the relevant details I have listed in my previous post. Verbage does not matter but writing to them does, so do it ASAP
