My own case status with I-485

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum when I first see this I was amazed to all the info that is so helpful, and the ppl that are in the same situation as me!!! So happy to be here.

Back to the case, I just filed I-485 with an attorney before Aug 17 deadline using Fedex. My attorney told me to wait 8 weeks so to get a receipt notice. No exact time frame to when I can receive anything or begin any next steps so far. So very uncertain to this step but just WAIT...WAIT.....WAIT. Hope something magic or miracle could happen.

Hi just share some updates with all of you!
EB3 at NSC. Today i received a notice of action for FP date, which is scheduled on 9/25/07. My check has been cleared on 8/24/07 at NSC. I think this notice is both the receipt notice and the appointment for FP notice. It shows my case# on it.

Hope to have more progress soon.
 
When was your I-485 package received at the Center? For some reasons, they have stopped posting the update on sending receipts out.

On which date did you send your package?I am also in similar situation. I sent the package in 2nd week of Aug. I am yet to receive any update. My checks are also not cashed.
 
NSC got my application around 7/24/07. My notice date is 8/30/07. But I am scheduled to have FP after a month.
