I am planning to go to India in next few days....
what happens if my GC is approved while I am at India...
Can I enter with AP...
Did any one had gone throug this....

PD 10/2003...
Nothing is pending per IO...

GC approved

Thank god,I got mine, my wife and kids GC's approved on 09/01...
I checked couple of days ago...
Akilhere, My sixth sense most of the times comes true :)
I am right now in India..had couple of big parties with family members on this good news...
Due to my India travel my wife atteneded 2nd FP early than scheduled date...she did on 8/20...all the cases are approved....

Please post here your experiences if you enter with AP and GC is approved.

My I-485 was approved when I was in India. When I came back thro Chicago ORD airport, I gave the officer at POE my AP and asked her whether there is any difference in procedure because my GC was approved when I was out of USA. She said "There is no difference" and paroled me into the country!

Just returned,POE at Detroit...No questins...Not even asked my I 485...Paroled into country but it took long time in queue...those have connecting flights go straight to Travel document counter....I thought I would miss connecting fliht but luckily not though...
