VISA Numbers unavailable at TSC

I am one of those 2002 filers who missed the approvals. I really got surprised when couple of known guys got approvals ( cards in hand) last week. Suddenly thought may be some thing wrong and called TSC. Came to know my biometrics are good NC is cleared. The lady told me they don't have any VISA numbers and I have to wait until OCT. Also when we moved I have changed my address online and it seems that the address on their system never changed.


This process sucks. No pattern or procedure.I don't know what they were doing when all the VISA numbers are available. ( Of course you may say what you are doing ?? you should bug them every day)

I am blaming my self not being proactive. Atleast now I want to follow this closely. Is there any body who had similar experience? Is there any thing I can do to make this happen ??????

my dates are similar to yours and am equally frustrated, but the "visa number unavailable" response is a standard response they have been using for many people who called up. Some of those even got approvals after hearing that very statement.

So hang in there - it's tough - I know since I am in the same boat...

gcmess2007, do not get frustated with their answers, approvals are still coming. I am also very much disappointed but there is nothing we can do from our side.

I am also 2002 filer.. Got the same response .. but I am still hoping to get the approval.... :mad:
 
GC mess - how did you confirm that the online address change doe not work? Meaning - does mail go tothe old address. I too feel the same.I did the same, & i checked withthe last apartment tenant and they said they had lot of mail, nd they put in trash....
 
The lady who picked up the phone was reconfirming the address with me. Which was our old address. I had to give her my new address again.

Here is my details, even if you follow with them also no use, i have been contineously following and created two SR's

Sub labour
PD 06/02
140 and 485 filled concurrently in June 2003
1-140 denied Initially, Appealed and approved within six months in 2004
1-485 reopened on Jan 2005
I-485 Transfered from VSC--> TSC
3EAD approved so far
FP on May 2007
 
I was told no VISA number and got GC ordered mail the same afternoon. Dont believe "no VISA number crap".

LUD Changed again on 13th

LUD changed again on 13th for me and my kid. The LUD on my wife's remains untouched. Is it an indication some thing is moving?? Your messages are giving me hope.
 
Name check pending, no visa number's are the standard answers , don 'nt belive , there will be a approvals this week and sept second week again.
 
it is true no new visa numbers available...

but already visa numbers assigned applicants will be approved... so we are still getting approvals...
 
even they say no visa number availble for the candidates who already got assigned visa number, it happened to several cases since june, thier answer is politically correct answer.
 
I was told no VISA number assigned (2 times) and still got approved.
Dont believe in the VISA number not available or not assigned crap...

sannams, what is your statement about approvals this week and Sept 2nd week, based on? Do you know something/observe something we all did not?
 
I overdid it this time but they deserve it.

I have opened a service request concerning my case. At the same time my wife did the other one. I called again TSC this afternoon and the lady who picked up the phone told me I may want to go through my attorney this time. She did mentioned that we have two service requests pending and advised me to wait 60 more days before I do any thing. She won't give any other details.

I spoke with many many people and found that the pattern is, who ever bugs these guys at the right time gets their GC. All of them I spoke are pro active case followers with atleast couple of calls / SRs / Infopass type of deals. Atleast this is true for the cases which doesn't have any other things pending like NC and Biometrics.
 
OK What is going on, I got another LUD 08/14/07.( Both on my case and my kids case, my wife case remains untouched) . Does this mean when ever we call they are updating with call information???

Gurus, help me understand.
