Reducing number of hours after getting green card.

Last month (July 2007) my wife’s 485 is approved and we all received green cards. Now she is working 40 hours per week. Because we have two little kids she wants to reduce to 37 hours per week. As per her company policy 35 hours per week is fulltime. I am not sure how many hours per week mentioned in her green card LC and I-140 petitions.

If 40 hours per week mentioned in LC and/or I-140 petition and if she reduce to number of hours to 37 per week, is there any impact on green card or we encounter any issues when we apply citizenship?

I don't think so as long as she is being paid the LC mentioned salary.
or her W2 gross total should be equal/more of LC salary.

Wait for other members to response.

Still employed in the same company in the same job, right? I definitely don't expect anybody to nitpick over 37 vs 40 hours. Certainly not to the extent of denying citizenship or revoking the green card.

Is she a derivative applicant? If so, then no need to worry. Otherwise,
as long as she is working with the sponsor and has a proof that she is working
for 35/37 hours a week instead of 40 hours, she should be okay.

I guess, her paystub would reflect that.. In any case, it doesn't hurt to get a letter from the Company.
