Approved EB3-World in less than 3 months

Hi guys,

I like to say all of you that we got magic e-mails (Card production ordered e-mail) today morning.

I thought we have to wait few years to get approval on our i485 cases. I was fine when we got my wife's EAD card. We were told our security clearance is fine couple of weeks ago when we went for Infor Pass. They told us everything is fine and you won't see any approval till October, 07.

I think if your name check and FBI finger prints are fine, then you will get approvals pretty soon. You do not even have to wait till October, 07.

EB3-WORLD @ TSC
PD: July 2004
Got H1B-Oct. 2003 (was in F1 status before)
Valid H1B for another two years
I-485 RD: June 5, 2007
I-485 AD: Aug. 9, 2007
1st FP (CODE3): given July 5, 2007
I-485 LUDs: 7/5, 7/6, 7/10, 7/26 and *****8/9-card production ordered***
I-765 for my wife: RD June 5, 2007
I-765 for my wife: AD Aug 3, 2007
Got EAD card for my: Aug 8, 2007
No LUDs for I-765 till it was approved

FBI finger printing and name check clear: according to IO @ service center and Info Pass

I'll give you little bit advice: Please do not try to call at service centers all the time and go crazy when they tell you garbage about your case (usually they do not really care what they say). If you really want to find about your case, take Info Pass and see an IO.
Never write to Senator, FL or any body. But I called only couple of times to IO and got tired of what they told me. Then stop calling them and got only one time Info Pass.

congrats. Writing to congressman definitely helps..At least in my case it did.

There are 4 options to choose from to make an Inforpass appointment. Which one do you pick when you just want to find out your case status?


1.Order from Immigration Court - If you were directed to us for processing based on an order from the Immigration Judge. You must bring all documents required in the post order instructions given to you by the court.


2. Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing.


3. EAD inquiry appointment - If your I-765 employment authorization application has been pending for more than 90 days.


4. Case Services follow-up appointment - If it has been over 45 days since you contacted NCSC and have not received a response to your inquiry. You must bring the Service Request ID Number related to your inquiry to the appointment.

I think i selected #4 to see IO.
 
Did you really have a SR open for more than 45 days? The IO didn't verify that you actually had a SR? I am afraid to make an Infopass appointment when I really don't have a good excuse, but just dying to check my latest status...

I think you just have an appointment, tell them you need to find about your i-485 status. Can you tell me about your case information? You do not have to afraid, they won't do anything wrong. nothing to loose...

I know with the receipt date of 4/4/07, I really shouldn't be anxious to get my green card, but I am noticing a lot of approvals lately who filed in march, april, and may... heck, even June filers! There are several approvals yesterday and today at trackitt who filed in April..

485 RD: 4/4/07
FP: 5/4/07
140/485 concurrently filed
140 approval: 6/25/07
LUDs on 485: 5/4, 5/6, 7/18, 7/19, 8/2 (after talking to TSC IC), 8/3

No further LUDs since 8/3.

When applying for I-485, how do you specify ROW ? If originally filed from say, INDIA, can it be later changed to ROW (at an additional price maybe) ?

I would think if your security clearances are fine (both FBI finger printing and name check) and you are WORLD, you will have a pretty good chance getting approval soon.

Just go and see IO w/ IforPass to find out about your security clearance.

When you apply for i-485, you need tell your birth country. They want to see your copy of birth certificate w/ i-485 packet.
 
when I talked to the IO on 8/2, I was told that my security/name checks are cleared. She also said my case is pre-adjudicated. I know this is all good, but I'm also hearing that a lot of people got contradicting answers when they call back to talk to IO (i.e. they were told name check cleared, but 2nd time they call, name check still pending, etc).

So, you just want to confirm w/ IO that your security is fine or not rite? Like i said take an InforPass and talk to them. nothing to loose.........
