EB3: I-485 Approval (Finally!)

Filed: Nov, 2004 (after waiting 3 years for labor approval)
Place of filing: NY/Vermont
I-140 Approved: 05/10/2005 (RFE for employer letter, FBI check started here, too, I believe)
I-485 transferred to NYC: June, 2006
Interviewed at NYC: July 17th, 2006 but told that security checks are still pending so cannot be approved right then.
-Insert long waiting and anxiety and daily praying here-
Contacted congress reps (Joseph Crowley, Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer). Got a reply from Chuck Schumer a couple of weeks ago stating that the security checks were still pending. Got a letter from Joseph Crowley's office saying that the case was approved on 7/23 and sent to Vermont center for card production.
Approved: 07/23/2007.
Recieved Welcome Notice today.

Hi,

The welcome notice just had the title of 'Creation of record of lawful permanent residency' and that the Vermont center has been notified.

However, the letter I got from congressman Crowley's office had an attachment with it which said that the case was approved on 07/23/07 and that the Vermont center has been notified for card production.
