Time left after replying to an RFE?

Guys,

I got an RFE for missing out the TB skin test in mid july. I had it done, got the completed medical stuff and my lawyer sent it back to the USCIS. They got it this morning according to FedEx tracking.

Two questions.

1, Does getting an RFE indicate that your name check is done and that you are in the final stages of i485 approval? I ask this as my friend had a similar RFE and got his approval within two weeks, also trackitt shows a similar trend though of course the numbers of trackitt members is statistically small.

2, Is the RFE done at anytime during the process or is it just once at the end?

I'm from the UK and in the EB2 category.

I may not be able to answer ur questions but We both are on same boat.

I got LUDs on 8/3/07(medical RFE updated), 8/5/07(no msg change), 8/6/07(no msg change). Hoping that this is good sign but my NC is pending still per Congresswoman email followup with TSC congressional unit. See my signature for more info.

You might be lucky on this, but there are couple of users in this forum, who replied for RFE and waiting till now.. which is more than a month. All the best.
