National Benefit Center Question

The French Maid

I was wondering if anyone else had their case at the NBC? We sent our papers to a Chicago Lock Box and that is where it ended up. Our case seems to be going slower than others.

My question is... could it be because we are at this particular processing center?

Our DO is Portland, OR.

My case status online message says the same. All my applications 765, 130 and 485 were all with NBC. Did you see any LUD on your case after the finger prints?

Cheers

No... we never received anything after our fingerprints. When we go in, it looks like someone "touched" the case on July 2nd which tells me they might have received the FP documents that were done on June 30th. However, nothing has happened since then. This seems odd to me?

We are getting nervous because financially this is hard on us and if something is wrong, we need to know about it NOW.

Shas... you already have your ID scheduled?

Your DO may be busy and trying to come up with a schedule. I would call the customer Service and initial an inquiry

Cheers

Hi,

I have also Sent my papers to a Chicago Lock and later found that all of my application is at NBC and it is normal. but i am not all impress by the speed at which NBC processed my applications. my DO is boston.

Sai,

Can you post your timeline in your signature? It really helps everyone on here see your timeline compared to others.

Shas,
You are right...It may have to do with my DO.. I know it can be all over the place as far as processing depending on your DO. It's just frustrating to see people get their ID 2 months after filing. I guess that is the downside to this board. The up side is to know that everyone else is anxiously waiting too.

Don't worry French Maid!

Your IL is on its way, you are just a few days behind me, and I got my IL on Monday, and my case, after being sent to Chicago Lockbox, was sent to NBC,too, that's what they usually do, and then NBC decides which DO to send your applications to.
Now I need to wait almost 2 months for my interview, but at least now I know when it is, so it makes the waiting easier.
Good luck!!! And a little more patience! You'll see that your IL will be in the mailbox in a few days!

Thanks Magdaj for the encouragement! You are right about being in my timeframe. One thing that is concerning is that I haven't noticed an LUD's on any of the applications. I notice that everyone has these and the last date that is on my husbands "online" portfolio says July 2nd.

Anyway, I am crossing fingers and congrats on your interview!:)

Let us know when you get your IL. And if it takes too long, you can always schedule an infopass appointment, but give them some time before doing it. Good luck!

My DO is Portland, OR too, the French Maid. Our receipt date is July 16, ND is July 25. Nothing since then. I STILL can't even sign in online to check the status. How long did it take you before you could find your case online? Keep me posted on your progress and I will do the same. Let's track the Portland DO timeline!

That’s rather odd that you can’t even see your case status. Does your checks have been cashed yet?
