Hi Gurus:

I have two questions to ask for a favor:

1. The big one: Would it matter if I submit the N-400 90 days before the five year date. Do you see any problems if I do so. I understood it is allowed but jut not sure if this would accelate or slide my app process.

2. In N-400 form. Part 4. B, Care of, should I leave the B blank?

No one has seen any problems. However, make sure you get your 90 days right. Many folks advise deliberately waiting a few more days (to a week) to make sure that they are not sending the form in early. If you sign or mail the form before however the USCIS calculates the 90 days, they will either mail it back to you, or process the whole thing and then bounce you.

If you mean the field that says "Care of", yes, leave it blank if you want correspondance sent directly to you. If you don't like blanks, stick in a "n/a" (not applicable).

what problem? the instruction says so, and we are following the rules. I wonder why people keep worrying over small things ...

Yes, leave the Care of as BLANK. I am leaving it as blank too.

They will anyway send it to YOUR NAME care/of {someone else,if it is someone else's address}
(if that someone else is YOU, then it is redundant and not required)

Coaster,
By the way, are you using PO Box? for the Mailing addr?

The 90 day exact thing has been a problem sometimes as INS sometimes view the 90th exact day as invalid. Even if the instructions say so, that doesn't mean anything. There was someone here who had their application turned back when sending it on the 90th day. It is best to wait a few days or up to a week or two as mentioned...
