No LUDs till today. Spoke to IO @ NSC on Friday afternoon. She told me that my case was in staging area waiting for a IO to pick up and assign a visa #. She told me to wait 60 days. Guess the wait was shorter.
 
Thanks. Your approval gives some hope to me. My case is similar to yours - EB3 NSC, same PD (Aug 2003), same RD (Dec 2003) and now same LUD (Oct 2006). According to this site, very few non 8/19/2006(LUD) cases are approved.
 
If I had to guess, your case will be approved this week, even today. Take it easy. Good luck.

I was worried too as my case did not have LUD of 8/19/2006, but I guess they are approving others too.

Congrats. How did you speak to an IO@ NSC. I tried calling the 1800 number and asked them if I could speak to IO and they said no...
 
I followed the following procedure that I found here on the forum.

Please follow the steps below to get hold of IO in NSC

Call 1-800-375-5283
Press 1
Press 2
Press 2
Press 6
Press 1
Now enter your receipt number
press 1 (now listen to the case update info..blah blah)
press 3
press 4
(now if you listen a male voice prompting you to hold the call that means the call is going to IOs desk, if it says no IO is available, it will redirect it to NSC, you can cut the phone.. and try the same steps)

The IO I talked to was a very pleasant person. I have heard that not everyone is like that. I believe that if you are prepared for what you have to say are are pleasant about it, odds are you will find them more receptive.

Got the approval emails at 9:30 AM EST. I see a little momentum shift from 8/19/2006 LUD to Oct 2006 LUD cases. Thanks again to musiclover and other members of this forum. I hope, in future, USCIS will change the way they process I-1485, EAD & AP applications.

Was the IO male or a Female? I have read in the forum that the Male IO does not listen but the Female IO is very nice.

IO was a female, but I doubt if that has to do anything. It just depends on the mood of the person and sometimes the rudeness of the previous caller that they had to deal with.
