Fingerprinting notice not received

I am in Northern VA area and the Priority Date for my citizenship application is mid-May 2007. I have a lot of friends who got there fingerprint notice within 3 weeks, but its been 2 months now and I havent got it.

Should I be concerned at this time ?

I called USCIS and they said that the processing time for Vermont Service Center is 7 months. I dont know what is my local field office. If I check processing times for Vermont Service Center, it doesnt show any entry for N-400. So which office should I check ?

Thanks.

Yeah, that's a long time. Did you get your initial NOA (with the priority date on it)?

The processing time for the VSC may be 7 months, but your FPs should happen much quicker than that.

If you go to https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices, you can find "your" office. The "Application Support Centers" (ASCs) actually do the fingerprinting, but it is the "Local Office" (aka the "District Office" (DOs)or "Field Office") that will eventually own your case.

I'd start by calling the 800 number again, and, if you get the same answer, try pushing the drone on the other end to let you talk to the next level of support. If that fails, you could try taking an Infopass at the District/Local office.

The ASCs don't look equipped to answer questions (they are pretty much fingerprint factories).

Good luck

Yes, I did get the Notice of Receipt with a priority date of May 16th. Are there any phone numbers to contact the local office ?
Based on the website u gave me, my office is Fairfax, VA office which I think is Washington DC office in the USCIS Local Offices.

FP notice not received

I called USCIS customer service after 30 days of mailing my N-400 and talked to an IO who said that my FP notice was already sent. They had sent the notice to the wrong apt no. because of a typo error on my address. My FP appointment was actually scheduled the next day. On the recommendation of the IO I talked to, I actually went to the fingerprint office without the notice and they did my FP by looking it on the system. I would definitely be worried and call and speak to an IO. If you cannot get the IO on phone, I would make an infopass to speak to an IO.

nailah did u get ur oath yet

FP not received yet

Worried 2007,

This is Naila. I recently called USCIS and spoke to IO. He said that final decision was made and that my application was recommended for approval and should wait for oath letter in mail. Now all this is verbal. I am going to keep my fingers crossed and hope to see the oath letter in the mail.
