Successful interview in Kansas

I completed my citizenship interview yesterday. The interview lasted about 10minutes and was fairly uneventful. Here's a snapshot of my experience:

1) Reported to the USCIS office in Kansas City about 30 minutes prior to interview time. Plenty of street parking available at no cost.

2) Was let in by guard after he checked interview letter and was asked to drop off letter in black box by the door marked interview.

3) After about 15 minutes, an IO came and called for my name. As soon as I stepped through the interview door into the hallyway, she asked for a form of identification and I showed her my drivers license.

4) She escorted me to her offices and asked me raise my right hand and swear that I will say nothing but the truth.

5) She invited me to sit down and gave me the verbal and written test wherein I was asked to say and write a simple sentence of about 4-5 words.

6) After that she administered my civics test and asked me 10 questions. She asked all 10 even though I had the first 6 right.

7) She then went through my application. She seemed to randomly asked questions through the applications. I had a total of 15 overseas trips in the last 5 years and she said she was not bothered by that. I gave her an updated page of my application regarding overseas trips.

8) She finally asked me to sign photographs and the application form. She joked about how my spouse had got her citizenship before me even though she had her GC through me. She said it was very common these days due to background checks.

9) She then congratulated me and handed me the N-652 form stating that I had passed and my application was recommended for approval. She confirmed that all my security and background checks had been completed; else I would not have had the interview call.

10) She said I could expect an oath in August-Sep timeframe as they normally double up on oath ceremonies during summer months.

11) She then escorted me out of her offices.

All-in-all it was a pleasant and smooth experience. Waiting for oath letter and good luck to all.

Congratulations! One quick question, did the IO go over all N-400 items even if they were in random order or did the IO skip part of the N-400? The way you describe it it seems like she was going down the application and every once in a while asked something. I guess all the questions of section 10 were verified one by one, or also just a few of them?

The IO did go down through the N-400 but did not ask me all questions in Section 10. She just kept ticking through as if she already knew my answers.

She also did not ask me any questions about citation or arrest, etc.

I knew my name check cleared on April 27 through the customer service number when I talked to an IO.

Can anyone please confirm - Do I/O officer gives N-652 to passed applicants or to applicants Not approved but recommended for approval?

every one gets N652
