I requested my rtd to be expedited due to a work related trip, and got a letter from NSC saying that that is not a life or death situation.

Contacted a senator office, they sent me a form authorizing them to inquire about my case, and nothing has happened as of yet. The I-131 was received on 05/22/07... We'll see....

Did you use the service of any of the companies to expedite the process?
