Can FedEx GC/WelCome Notice?

Gurus,

I am leaving for India this friday. My 485 was approved yesterday and I may not get the Welcome Notice/Card before I leave. Incase if It comes after leave, Can it be fedexed to India? Any leagal issues?

At POE, which line I should use? Non Immigrant or GC?

Appreciate any thoughts!
 
what is another few days in this long wait..

Wait till you get the card in hand then go. Take additional few weeks off to celebrate. You will lose few hundred dollars on new tickets etc.
But peace of mind is priceless.
My 2cents advise.

Just go with your AP document - as long as AP is valid you should be OK to enter.
You don't need the welcome notice to enter -- AP is all that you need.

Use Non-immig line when you enter - since you don't have the GC with you.

I think that is wrong way to do it. You know and you are in US while your GC was approved.. You never use grey areas until or unless we have any other options

You have 3 options

1) Go to local office and get stamped
2) Post pone trip for another week
3) Look for some one coming to India to bring those cards with them

If you go to local office you will hear the same thing as what I said -- use AP. Try it, you'll know :)

Using AP to enter is NOT a grey area.
 
If it is not grey area then there should be documented some where ..Right ? Do you have any document to prove this ? I agree with you, we can use this grey area when we are out of country and when GC was approved ,as there is no other option. Just recently same thing happened to my friend and their attorney also told the same thing what I said here ..
 
Congrats pratham..its good to see 2003 cases being adjudicated...
Now pray for me...I need that in railroad trucks...cuz the visa dates
could go back anytime....Pray for me bro.....

i know exactly how it feels, i use to read nemo's post
"Another day passed by..." and use to ask God, is there any end to this ordeal?
but there was, just remember, every thing has an end
