I-485 Apply - I797 (H1) expired & I-129 applied but pending

My H1 expired 2-3 months ago & my I-129 is still pending. Since EB3 category become current, I want to apply for my I-485 asap. The documents required for filing I-485 are all I-797 approvals so far. Since I don't have the latest one approved & in hand yet. Can the I-485 application be filed with I-129 pending? Would appreciate your response. Thanks in advance.

That does not matter. You can apply with H1 receipt notice.
