DV winner from Asia for 2008

My case no is AS2008 99XX, and I got the NL in May. I would appreciate advices about my chances of getting the second letter.
1. Do you think this No. is too high for applicants from Asia?
2. I would like to hear from other winners from Asia too with their NL case nos., and if there are any applicants whose cases are after AS10,000.

My case number is very close to you. I think that we are lucky and we both can have the interview at the same time. If you dont mind, can I ask where are you from? Are in US or your home country? Usually doing CP is faster.

You can check the Visa Bulletin in the past, then you will have the idea about the number.

I assume that our case number might be cut-off at either August or Sep 2008, according to the VB in the past.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have, I'll try to answer you too.

Is AS99XX considered to be a low or high no? I'm really confused with this AS, AF, EU case no. Is this AS9XXX only for Asia or they will have the same case no. like EU9XXX or AF9XXX for respective regions too? Does this AS9XXX mean that I was lottery picked at 9XXX out of the overall applicants or just out of Asia only?

I'd appreciate to hear more from other people with their Case Nos. from Asia. I heard that a year before a person with AS6XXX didnt even get his 2nd letter.

my case number is also AS 99**. Therefore, I think that we could receive 2 letters at the same time.

You need to refer Visa Bulletin every month to know what number in asian region become current. My guess is about Aug or Sep 2008, according to the past VB record.

Relatively our case numbers are high, but please don't give up the hope. Keep the faith.

I will do CP in my home country ( because CP is faster than AOS).

2 different NL in the same day

hi all: i am a dv winner from asia : 2008AS000081xx dated at 10 april and my spouse also won a compeletly diferent dv with Co 2008AS000086xx dated at 10 april again..so you see we won it 2 times but every time with a high number.....
what is your case number in ASIA?and what is the highest number in asia?does anybody knows if there is a reduction in other regions?(it seems in europe the hihgest number is around 25000 and i think it shows the lower percent of dv winner in europe in contrast to dv2007)
