As of June1, 07, we are seeing a lot of approval for EB3 485s and some for EB3. While most of them are cases with PD of 2002, 2003 and 2004, it seems surprising that I have not seen a single EB1 approval so far. Maybe Tipotodo was the last one. Considering this category is current and that not all of us are stuck in name check, it does look like they have clamped down on EB1 approvals. What are your thoughts guys?

Yes! You are right, It looks like it is all EB3 and EB2. Congrats to all the recent approvals, specially 2002 guys, you guys waited enough......
Probably the old cases will have priority as apposed to new cases, in terms of length of time. Some of us were kind of expecting this situation, specially when a big chunk of back logged cases will flood the USCIS. I believe it is basically due to shortage of man power and USCIS wants to keep its record straight by saying "look we did our best and approved all these cases ASAP, when the visa # was available", coming to EB1, these guys most often will have a visa # and as soon as the name check is done we are processing according to the receipt date. I think I can relocate my self to USCIS.....once I get my GC though...
Rama:rolleyes:

Chatterjee,

I got my approval on May 17, 2007 and now waiting for my spouse. Yes I did not see any EB-1 approvals.

Yes, you are the only other Eb1 guy who has got approved recently. However, you did successfully relink your old 485 to your EB1 petition , so its possible your case was also approved and waiting for a visa # for NIW and as soon as your transfer and A # issues got sorted, you were approved. Any news on your derivative's case?

Chatterjee,

My attorney had a talk with TSC officer and he has said last week that my spouse file is being sent to an officer to finalize. I do not know how long it is going to take for them to finalize. I will wait for another week and ask my attorney to call TSC again to talk to the same officer whoever has talked earlier. Let us see. Our entire case history is bit peculiar in the sense of handling.

Hang in there Madgu.I am sure things will only get better from here onwards. Your battle is half won inspite of so many irregularities. Good luck and let hope all of us get our GCs soon.

Agree with that! I havent noticed approvals recently!!

I have registered with trakkit.com recently. Well one can not say that there is no approval for EB1 at all. Afterall it is up to people who want to register with either trackkit or this website. we dont know this kind of statistics.

Just dont understand NSC processing. There are cases even in EB2 who's PD is later than some EB1(PP) and they got approved but not EB1. EB1 is current for all country so there is no question of PD for eb1 still how come NSC can approved EB2 who's PD is later than EB1? Here I am talking about EB1 who filled Conc. (140 and 485).

I-485 processing is on the basis of RD of of the 485 application. If the Date is current or beyond the PD then they go by I-485 receipt date. The EB2 which are approving must be very old 485 RDs. Also if the applicant's Name Check is not completed then another hurdle even though one has PD current with older 485 RD.

Check it on trackkit.com RD for EB2 140 is 11/06 and you know 485 can not be before that. LC date is not there but one more person whose LC is in July 06 and 140 is in 10/06. There are people who are in EB1 before that and no action on it? Now coming to NC every one can hide behind it and there is no status/LUD from USCIS about NC on each case so no one knows.
