NIW RFE help needed

I sent NIW I140 to NSC in June, 2006. Now I got the RFE from USCIS a week ago. Please see attachment for RFE detail.

I hold a Doctor degree in Chemical Engineering and have Journal Papers with 7 citations. I know my case is weak. How shall I prepare this RFE. Any suggestions is appreciated.

By the way, my phd dissertation was sold 33 copies in 2005 ( I graduated in 2004) according Proquest. Is it a good evidence? Thanks!
 
Sorry to hear that. I think sale number counts, especially considering that engineering fields tend to have lower citation numbers.

BTW, how do you check the sale number in proquest? Thanks!

I got the check from ProQuest which indicated how many copies sold. They will send you the check if your royalty exceed $10 in the calendar year.
 
While, by no means am I an NIW expert, the RFE questions seem quite simple and straight forward.

I had a two page RFE once that we simply answered the questions and my work permit was approved. Yours seems way easier than mine. why do you feel your case is week? Am I missing something here?

I consulted a lawyer about my RFE. According to her, the possibility for my case to be approved through NIW is slim because I only have 6 journal articles： 3 first author, 2 second author, 1 third author.
 
Fire her. By the way, how many citations totally do you have?

You have 6 journal articles and your lawyer is telling you that your case is weak?! I think this lawyer either does not know too much about NIW cases, or she sees something we do not see on this forum. I do feel however that she is not experienced and probably you should turn away from her.

My case got accepted with 4 papers and I was only a PhD student. I did NIW on my own. Read through the forum and other places to see how to present your case in a better way. It all boils down to how you present your case.
