Hi,
I wrote an e-mail to Mr: Badwal at CGI, Chicago who is responsible for OCI applications. He said that it takes between 16-18 weeks to get your U-visa stamped on the US passport.

Here is mt timeline for OCI:

date submitted: 04-26-07
Apllication received: 04-27-07.

You've got to be kidding now.... 16-18 wks?? That's 4+ mos. Bummer !!
A couple of mos back - he e-mailed me saying 12-14wks.

I just don't understand why CGI Chicago is so slow?? Even DC and Houston are better, while NY and SFO are probably the fastest !!
