Her PPD skin test turned out to be positive, which she knew it would, it always does. The doctor writes 15mm reaction on the immigration form but gives her a prescription for her primary care physician suggesting she take the INH drug (is that the name) because she had a 20mm reaction. Yes, apparently he said 15 first then 20 (that's how he wrote them down)
I thought she was having memory issues until I looked at her copies. So she comes home and we measure the site which he marked in pen on her arm and it's actually 13mm. Her chest x-ray is negative so he marked that on her form. My issue is, he did not give her her x-ray-is that supposed to go with the application to the INS? He also did not write any extra comments on the form to INS about any treatment she should take, so should she even take these drugs? Aside from the test site mismeasurement issue he also told her the drugs have "no side effects" so she's determined to take them for 6 months because...hey, they have "no side effects, they can only help me, he said it'd prevent future problems". She's in love with that office because apparently they are the nicest people and the doctor's awesome but this screams like crazy to me. What do you guys think?
