firing my lawyer

I have lost my confidence in my lawyer. my case has been rebutted for 5 months, He still refuse to contact PBEC, only ask me waiting. and he is also obviously lack of updated immigration knowledge, such as Priority Date carry over.

Have you fired your lawyer during the process? anything need to pay attention to?

I am also on the same boat. My LC was approved for over 4 months and I never received the hard copy. My lawyer only send letter to PBEC last year and do nothing since. He refused to call PBEC even though I gave him a specific person's phone number I got from a voicemail to my employer. All he said is to wait and wait and wait!

Gurus, please let us know if it is possible to breach the contract with such lawyers. However, I do think that it will be very hard to do so. They are lawyers and the contract must be written in their best interest.
