My 485 pending with VSC has now been transferred to TSC. My relinking request has no effect so far. Just trying to contact the center by fax and letters.
Anyone in the same boat??

Some people in the main 485 forum said the same thing, it was A HUGE mass transfer. It's going to have a slow effect on TSC, I've been reading that ina bunch of websites. Hope you get ur relink soon.

I just really hope TSC dosen't turn into a new NSC beacuse of the mass transfer. we shall see

Same case with my friend

All,

My friend also said that his 485 is transferred to TSC from VSC. So I think they are reshuffling again.

Hi good_y,

Last year around June/July there was a mass transfer of 485s to different centers from VSC and it took NSC several months to update (about 4 months). I heard from my friend that even his EB2-485 files were transferred to TSC from VSC.

Yes as tipotodo said it is going to slow down the process at TSC. But still TSC is faster than anyother center.

TSC cannot do anything unless and until they have 485 files physically. Keep dialing TSC whether they received your files or not.

Good luck

your right, they can do anything unless they have them physically. But is crazy NSC is processing EAD and AP faster then TSC, my luck! But whatever as longs as we get ur stuff approved.

Any luck with A# problem?

Thanks madgu and tipotodo,
so you mean it will take time for this stuff to reach TSC, any idea how long at a minimum?
If you call TSC, will those ignorant reps spell out something?
It is really a real headache, god knows when we get it.

You got it good_y. It is a real headache. Now you will get the transfer notice (hard copy) from VSC. Depends on TSC how fast they act in updating the piles of 485s they receive. TSC is not as slow as NSC. NSC took about 4-5 months to update the online status after my file was transferred from VSC to NSC. I think atleast couple of months TSC might take to update 485s. Now you don't send any letter to VSC.

so do they change our receipt number too? so when you refer to them how do they track it?
So once TSC receives it, they will again update it, is that correct?
I am seriously thinking of filing another 485 to NSC.

Receipt # will be the same.

what is your online message saying now?

Once TSC updates then you will see the date change?
