I485 which date to check visa bullet in or processing date

I applied I485 on EB3 Category.
I have a question about which date i need to check whether visa bullet in date or processing date.

1) My I485 was submitted on 08/26/2004. Longtime back my attroney mentioned check bullet in dates for status.

Yesterday when i spoke to one of friend he mentionted check processing date based on service center. I am little confused.

If you are from a retrogressed country, such as India, China, Mexico... then you should look into the Deprtment of State Visa bulleton to see if the processing date has crossed your processing date.

If you are from non-retrogressed country, you should look into the processing dates published by the service centre where your case is pending.

If you have filed in 2004, and you are not retrogressesd, you might be stuck in security check. Take an infopass appointment and ask about the status of your case.

All EB3 are retrogressed. First check Labor filing date - this is your priority date. Then check visa bulletin for EB3 and country of your birth.
