Hi guys
It appears that my name check was completed and forwarded to the USCIS on Feb 1,2007. I had written to VP- first lady, USCIS, FBI, White house and have been trying through the senator in Missouri who unfortunately lost last election. Not sure which one worked. I got a letter from the FBI, unfortunately it got wet and is partially torn so I cannot tell which person worked and when name check were sent I am trying to scan it and see if by enlarging it I can find out whose intervention worked. My name check was submitted thrice to the best of my knowledge- April 1,05, July 05 and probably Nov 06. I had written to First lady in Nov 06, VP in Jan 07, White house in Jan07, Fbi in Jan 07. I had written a 2 page letter that included the fact that my university told me if I cannot apply for research grants they wanted me to apply getting a tenure will be difficult and that I had to leave as I could not wait for ever. I also mentioned the multiple health issues my USC wife had last year and how it was affecting her as well. The senators office had given me the dates last year. They were not able to help much.
I had mailed- first class to everyone except VP whom I sent a e mail.
Hope this helps to others.
My question how long does it take for the USCIS to receive the results and if I need to do medical again. My last medical was in Dec 04 at the time of filing FB- AOS.
I will go next week with infopass to get more info.
