Fingerprinting done in San Jose earlier than scheduled?

Hi,

Has anybody done their FP earlier than the actual date in San Jose? I got FP notice for March 2nd but plan on doing it earlier than that...

You could walk in and do the FP early if the office is not busy, otherwise you will be asked to come back on the time/date on your FP notice.

I know you're awaiting your RFE notice, have you got it? If yes, what is about?

BTW, Since you got your FP notice, it is likely your case will be adjudicated soon.
When was your name check cleared?

The RFE notice was about FP! The lawyers never got it and it went to the old address hence the delay...

I hope this FP can be done earlier than the given date. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Only the primary got the FP notice and not the dependant...some issue or other lingers on!

As for namecheck, I only know that it has been cleared. When and how, I have no clue..
I never bothered to probe further about namecheck. The retrogression as it is made me wait for 5 years so namecheck being cleared or not never hampered my case!!
 
Since your name check has been cleared and PD is current; in addition, you got FP notice. I'm pretty sure you will get your case approved soon after your FP. Will this be your 3rd or 4th FP notice? Anyway, I know it will be your last FP in your GC journey.

well, i walked in this morning but there were too many people so he asked us to come back on the date of the appointment.

Which day you go? Do you think I try my luck another day?

From what I gather in the forum, if its second FP then most likely your namecheck is cleared.

The best thing to do is take infopass and ask them. They usually tell you the correct answer.

How long does it take after your namecheck is cleared to get the FP notice? They told me that I will get a notice when the local ASC has an appointment open? Can I just walk in without the FP notice?

Is there anything I can do to speed us the process of them sending me the FP notice? They only told me that I would get a notice when the local ASC has an opening? What does that mean?

There is nothing much you can do to trigger an FP NOTICE. They will definitely send it out in the next couple of weeks...
