hello from bangkok airport

hi guys..just wan to say hello to you.am here at the bangkok airport waiting for my flight back to san francisco.i visited thailand and phillipines in this trip.
in short thailand is "good country for relaxation" but you will fing openly discimination against people from third worls even this country is itself in third world.very few ppl english spoken and very few are helpful.most i dealt with were rude.but still i donnt want to leave for ..?????????????
phillipinos are the best people i ever dealt with.all of them speak english.and they are so polite and helpful.i felt really happy there.
thats in short.
we will talk later on cuz it's my flight time.

Nice to hear you are comeing back.
Could you tell us the stuff you got for your trip. like ticket and visa processing and how was it in Thiland.
I am planning to travel there on March 17th

Thailand is awesome. THe food. Wow. and you can stay at a 5 star hotel for very cheap since the Baht it like 45 per 1 dollar.

If you go to thailand, visit their Sukhumvit Electornics mall. Its like being in heaven for electronics geeks. You can buy a high end Compaq laptop for like 500 bucks..

Since you have mentioned about the process I think we have to discuss about the asylees travel around the world and have some websites and hints available for them and we can talk aboout it,
probably another sticky:O
 
getting thai visa is very easy.only thing you have to buy your tickets in advance to show them.
$1 = 39 thai bhat.
hotels are cheaper but ....for example we were three ppl and want to get only one room but they force you to get two rooms no matter what you explain them.and if you go outside to find other one and come back at the same hotel ; they wont give you room"we are all full" that's what you hear.
next you ask something from them and they will answer else.
about discrimination....only in go go bars in pattaya.i tried to go inside and they will say only members.i asked them so politly ok i buy membership.then they say "sorry only members".then i went to tourist police who sits on walking street.i asked about this.there was a british man who answered me cuz thai donnt understand what am saying..these are his words.."yes sir;abolutely there is discrimination goin on.it's your color of skin which makes you eligible to go inside.unfortunately there is no law in thailand which prohibit discrimination.so sorry ..we are unable to help you."
but on the other side ; there are also lot of wonderful thai people.you will fall in love with those ones. am missing them now.
so there are two sides of thai people.
but in phillipines, you will find american structure in dealing with people.they respect you and help you as much they can.and currency is also cheaper.
$1= 51.65 peso.
lot of good malls for shopping. and cheap and best.
in short this trip was a good one.

Did you show them your GC as well or just RP did the trick? You are the second person this week saying this and it sounds like a pretty smooth transaction at the POE.

i gave him both RP and GC and he slided GC only.
and intentionally i choose to go with a white man.very easy and smooth and i felt proud to be a permanent resident of the united states of america,
am ready to die for this country.this is my nation dude.this is my home.no country on this planet can compare with the USA.(not only in economic term),
this is a great country.i salute this nation with true heart.God bless America.

I have just bought my ticket for $767 from LAX, I thought after all the searches that is a decent price for this ticket.
I have not got the hotel, But I am trying to reserv one. You said you got a three stars hotel, how was that? as far as the cleaness goes and other.
For Visa, I got the applications and all that, I may mail them on friday most likely since there is no time tomorrow. I should be fine after all of this. I will keep you guys posted about the process.

Easy, don't get too excited.
 
too many people go to thailand for vacations and to see girls.

I ehared that cab rides and foods are very cheap there, hotel too.
